Join us for the first-ever History Club Movie of the Month. In honor of October being LGBTQ History Month, the History Club and Quest are proud to present "Milk"! "Milk" is a 2008 American biographical film based on the life of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, who was the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California, as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards, taking home two for "Best Actor in a Leading Role" and "Best Original Screenplay".
