Set against the looming Cold War, shifting political alliances, and the shocking memories of the Holocaust, Judgment prevails as one of the great courtroom dramas of all time. The penetrating themes explored—the compromise of human rights, the role of politics in foreign policy, the loss of compassion in the rule of law—resonate even today.
