Skip Wilkins Quartet

After a semester abroad, Skip Wilkins is reunited with his New York Trio and his son Daniel Wilkins.  The quartet’s CD “Father & Son” was released by Steeplechase Lookout Recordings in September, 2013.  This concert will feature Skip on piano, Daniel on tenor saxophone, Scott Lee on bass and Jeff Hirshfield on drums.  Skip has long associations with each member of the group.  Together with his son Daniel and a group of young stalwarts on the Czech jazz scene, Skip recorded all new compositions for a forthcoming CD in Prague in March.  This program will feature mainly new pieces composed in 2016 in Europe.  Admission is free.
