Focusing on 16 case study countries on the five continents, the students of Govt231 will present their semester-long research on the main planetary risks caused by global warming, the history of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and analyze the strength and weaknesses of the main economic and political structures that have responded to the environmental challenges. The class will also discuss the geospatial and political differences in personal and global responsibilities of global climate change.
