Casting 7 men and 2 women for Talk Radio, the award-winning play by Eric Bogosian about a controversial host of an all-night Cleveland call-in show who enjoys playing god on the air and in the studio. The show is going into national syndication and the producer is afraid that his star will say something that will offend the sponsors. This, of course, makes the host and his callers become even more outrageous. Funny and moving, off beat, and totally entrancing, Talk Radio had a long run at New York's Public Theatre in 1986 and a successful revival on Broadway in 2007.

Cast includes: Barry Champlain [show host], his producer [male or female role], an awed assistant [male], a drugged out teenaged boy, and Barry's girl Friday. Dozens of other characters remain unseen, bizarre voices in the night, played by a minimum of 2 men and 1 woman, all of whom must do accents and impersonations in the roles of the different callers.

Perusal scripts available from Joyce Wallace in the Williams Center for the Arts and from Cindy Notaroberto at 248 North Third Street on the Williams Arts Campus.

Performance dates: 31 March, 1 April, and 2 April 2016.
