Dennis McCarthy leads a fun and fast-paced lecture that demonstrates pioneering new digital research methods that use plagiarism detection software to make literary discoveries within the Early English Books Online (EEBO) database. McCarthy will use these pioneering methods to advance his claim that Shakespeare’s plays were adapted revivals of older dramas originally penned by the mysterious scholar-knight, Thomas North.
