How can concepts and ideas from the field of gender studies help break up the “women and STEM” deadlock and offer new ways of addressing key issues? Professor Armstrong (Chair of Women's and Gender Studies) offers a presentation (and welcomes conversation) on if, why and how gender matters in the experience of STEM education. This event is a basic “primer” for students interested in how ideas from gender studies can offer new perspectives on the issue of gender diversity in STEM fields.
