Declan McGuire will discuss a digital humanities project developed as part of a Religious Studies course at Lafayette College.  He compared graffiti and Islamic calligraphy as words that are also images. The lunch will feature Declan's reflections on how doing a DH project was different from a traditional paper as well as from a physical museum. Professor Jessica Carr (Religious Studies), and Postdoctoral Fellow in Digital Humanities Emily McGinn will discuss student Digital Humanities research at Lafayette College and the many uses of DH tools in the classroom. Lunch will be provided.
