The College's Calendar of Events takes center stage at December's Web Community of Practice meeting. We will be reviewing the workflows for creating events and announcements as well as how the calendar is used to drive these events to college web sites, the portal, and the weekly email digests.
We will also talk about the building blocks of WordPress web sites: pages, posts, and menus. We'll look at how these components relate to one another, and some of the problems people run into when using them. Finally we'll round out the meeting with a Q&A session discussing challenges people are encountering when working with the Web.
Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
