On the 25th of April, Nepal was rocked by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake epicentered very near the capital, Kathmandu, a city of 1.2 million.

The death toll soared to 4,000 and likely to increase in upcoming weeks. Countless houses and buildings were destroyed, many temples and historical sites have collapsed, and many are displaced as aftershocks from the quake continue to shake the region. Hospitals are treating the injured in the streets due to lack of resources. Nepal is running out of food and necessities. Please join us tomorrow, May 28th outside of farinon for candlelight vigil to commemorate the victims of this tragic event.

We will also be collecting donations of any amount from whoever chooses to donate.
