This presentation will be rescheduled for sometime in August. We apologize for any inconvenience. The original description is: After Prof. Chris Phillips found the Easton Library Company's records (1811-1862), he and Eric Luhrs began collaborating on building a web-based database that would make these records available to scholars and the public. Working with the records, designing the database, entering the data, and imagining uses for the database have all been crucial, challenging steps in this project. Our talk will provide a guided tour of our process over the past 3 years, an adventure in the new field of the digital humanities. Lunch will be provided and all are welcome. This presentation is sponsored by the EXCEL Scholars program.
