DESCRIPTION:We have brought a new LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) film screen
 ing event to \nLafayette campus this semester! Thank you for everyone who 
 came to the \nprevious 'People's Crisis' film screening in Fall and purcha
 sed LiNK goods \ndirectly benefiting the organization's North Korean Refug
 ee Rescue Project.\n\nEvery year thousands of North Koreans make the dange
 rous journey across the \nborder to escape oppression and poverty. In Marc
 h of 2005\, Danny was one of \nthem. Danny crossed into China and escaped 
 a life of indoctrination\, routine \npublic executions\, and starvation. A
 s Danny traveled\, he saw a world he never \nknew existed. A world where m
 ovement was not monitored by the government\, \ninformation was readily av
 ailable\, and most importantly at the time\, there \nwas enough food to fi
 ll his empty belly. Danny is now a U.S. Citizen and he \nsafely settled do
 wn in the state. He even participated in the recent U.S. \npresidential el
 ection! This new hour-long documentary is comprised of his \ninterview and
  his recent journey to South Korea (visiting DMZ - border area \nbetween S
 outh and North Korea) with the film director and other LiNK staffs.\n\nWe 
 invite YOU to join us as we tour Danny’s documentary around North \nAmeric
 a. YOU have the unique opportunity to be one of the first to see \n“DANNY 
 from North Korea” in the East Coast.\n\nOf course\, dinner (NO PIZZA) will
  be provided and a short Q&A session will be \nfollowed by the screening. 
 We will run a raffle at the end to give some LiNK \ngoods (t-shirts/hoodie
 s with LiNK logo) to audience.
