The Lafayette College Chamber Orchestra presents a concert of music for stage and cinema

from the 17th century to the present day. Works by French baroque composer Henry

Desmaret, 20th-century composers Gabriel Fauré, Florence Price, and Paul Hindemith, and film

music by Danny Elfman (“Dark Shadows,” “Corpse Bride,” and “Beetlejuice,”) John Williams

("Schindler's List,"; "Angela's Ashes," and "Saving Private Ryan") and Hans Zimmer (“Pirates of

the Caribbean.”) The performance will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM on the

main stage of the Williams Center for the Arts. Lewis R. Baratz, conductor. Admission is free.
