Hemendra Bhola `12 and Beatriz De Jesus `12
Graduating seniors Beatriz De Jesus `12 and Hemendra Bhola `12 will present their research on topics related to race.
The title of Beatriz's presentation is "Perceptions and Judgments of Female Skin Color in the Media: India, Senegal & Argentina." She will report on her experiences studying abroad in Argentina.
Hemendra will present information from his senior thesis, "The Legacies of Cheddi Jagan and Forbes Burnham of Guyana, and Eric Williams of Trinidad & Tobago in Shaping the Contemporary Racial Dynamics of Both Countries."
Light refreshments will be provided.
