Meidan Keidar
Meidan Keidar, 24, is the Israeli shlicha or emissary to the Lehigh Valley for 2011-2012. Meidan was born in Haifa, Israel, but her family was transferred to South Korea during her early teenage years. It was this experience, living outside of Israel, that strengthened her identity as an Israeli and her desire to become an officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Meidan spent four years in the Israeli Airforce where she is currently a First Lieutenant Officer. Come hear Meidan’s life story and bring your questions about life in Israel. Dessert will be served.
