In honor of Campus Sustainability Day, L.E.A.P. is sponsoring a brown bag on sustainable agriculture given by Professor Ben Cohen of the Engineering Studies Department. He will be discussing the many efforts to build a sustainable local food system (gardens, urban farms, CSAs, farmer's markets, and others) and how they fit together to create an interdependent whole.
This promises to be a great talk and is sure to be engaging if you enjoyed the TEDxLAF sustainable food talk hosted last month.
