Members of the Lafayette and Easton communities are invited to attend a public lecture given by Prof. Chris Phillips entitled: "What Did Eastonians Want to Read?: A Look at the Easton Library Company's Collection, 1811-1860." The lecture provides insight into the first library collection in Easton by examining the library's areas of strength, surviving rare books, and more.
Prof. Phillips is leading a collaborative project to make the early records of the Easton Library Company publicly available as a free, Web-based database.
