Fracking and Health-- an analysis of the worst impacts from fracking and fracking waste and what we can do about it.

PennEnvironment is a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy organization. Lina Blount is the Eastern Pennsylvania Field Associate with PennEnvironment. She works mainly to mobilize public support to protect our land, air, water, and treasured spaces in Pennsylvania. Her main focus right now is to protect communities from gas drilling by educating the public about the threat it poses to drinking water and our forests, mobilizing citizens in critical parts of the state, and building a coalition of health experts, religious leaders, and local organizations. In addition, she’ll help build public support for tackling global warming, preserving Pennsylvania’s parks, and protecting the numerous waterways around the state from pollution.
