Stories from the sixteen students from the INDS 145 trip to India. A handful of students will share their experiences regarding the impact of globalization on different aspects of India society - on the economy, education, infrastructure, gender relations, urban vs. rural India, the privileged vs. the underprivileged; the successes, challenges, and opportunities of globalization in India; and interactions with alumni and their families. Experiences of visits to slum schools, tribal schools, lavish Sikh weddings, and many other serendipitous occasions that defined this life-changing trip will be shared. Pizza will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Accompanying the panel discussion will be a photo/video presentation, with Q&A to follow. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
