Literacy Day is an annual event sponsored by the Landis Center. The primary focus of this community-oriented event is to promote enthusiasm for reading and other types of literacy. Approximately 50 students from the Easton community will come to the Lafayette campus and participate in various literacy activities based on the book "Spoon" by Amy Krouse-Rosenthal. The book exemplifies themes of diversity, individuality, and self-esteem which provide a wonderful basis for a fun-filled day celebrating reading and writing. There are multiple volunteering options available. Please keep in mind that all-day volunteers MUST attend a mandatory orientation Friday, February 27th at 6pm.
