Join the offices of Religious and Spiritual Life and Intercultural Development for our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial luncheon. The focus of this year’s event will be on Dr. King’s written and spoken words on the education system in the United States. Specifically, participants will reflect upon a short article written by King in 1947 and published in Morehouse College’s student newspaper entitled, “The Purpose of Education” and other King speeches on this subject. Mr. Harrison Bailey III, a Lafayette alumnus from the class of 1995 and the principal of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA will be the featured speaker.

Please click here to RSVP by Monday, January 26 to confirm your attendance.

This event leads up to a series of programs in recognition of Black Heritage Month (BHM). Check the campus calendar for full descriptions of all BHM events.
