On Thursday, October 30th, Lafayette German Club will be showing "The Lives of Others" (Das Leben der andere). This is a hugely popular and very successful film from 2006 that is a must-see! It is the third installment in German Club's month-long series focusing on the story of the Berlin Wall, which fell 25 years ago this November.
Synopsis: "In 1984 East Berlin, an agent of the secret police, conducting surveillance on a propagandist writer and his lover, finds himself becoming increasingly absorbed by their lives."
