This brown bag will be led by Professor Nandini Sikand to examine how lesbian women are depicted in film. We will be watching several film clips and discussing these relationships as seen from the "male gaze" as well as more empowering manners, and the differences between male and female directors in their portrayals of these cinematic relationships.
