A special program to honor Joe Humphreys--renowned fly fisherman, acclaimed author, educator, and conservationist.  During his more than 40-year career, Humphreys was director of Penn State's angling program, wrote two classic texts on trout, hosted a fly fishing series on ESPN, and taught hundreds of individuals to fly fish, including former President Jimmy Carter.

The program begins at 4:00 pm with a guided tour of highlights from Skillman Library's Angling Collections by College Archivist Diane Shaw.  At 5:00 pm there will be a program to honor Humphreys, which will include a preview of the film "Reflections," as well as several special presentations to him.
