The influential poet, critic, and editor David Lehman is the 2014 Ruth Mary Callahan Closs Visiting Writer-in-Residence. He will read his poetry, and a reception and book signing will follow. David Lehman's most recent book of poetry is New and Selected Poems (Scribner). Copies of his book will be available for sale.
Mr. Lehman is the editor of the Oxford Book of American Poetry and numerous other volumes. In addition to being a foremost poet, he is an authority on detective fiction and the American songbook.
